Marci Buhagiar is a psychologist registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. She is a highly experienced and compassionate practitioner specializing in psychological and psychoeducational assessments, group interventions, and parent/client consultation. With over 27 years of dedicated service to children, adolescents, and families, Marci brings a wealth of expertise and a comprehensive approach to every client interaction. She believes in working collaboratively with parents and schools to determine the unique strengths, needs, and supports of clients.

Marci provides assessment and consultation for a wide range of conditions, including Learning Disabilities, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Executive Functioning Difficulties, Intellectual Disabilities, Giftedness, Social Anxiety, Generalized Anxiety, Depression, and Autism Spectrum Disorder screening. With extensive experience in the public school system she offers invaluable support to parents navigating the complexities of the system and how to access support and accommodations. Marci has a keen interest and knowledge in evidence based supports and accommodations for clients with reading difficulties, as well as delivering group interventions focused on Social Emotional Learning (SEL) strategies to enhance resilience and manage anxiety in children.

Alongside her fulfilling career, Marci cherishes her role as a mother of two daughters and a supportive partner to her husband. She understands the firsthand joys and challenges of balancing work and home responsibilities, allowing her to bring a unique blend of professional expertise and personal warmth to her practice. Outside of her professional life, she finds solace and joy in the art of baking.
